Whether you come to Mike Kidder for a Survey, you can be assured in knowing the information is accurate and comprehensive. Mike is a Registered and Regulated member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and each Survey and Valuation, if a Valuation is required within your report, is carried out in accordance with the codes of practice and guidance notes issued by the RICS.


Once a report has been finalised, you and your solicitor will each receive a PDF copy, and your solicitor will then be able to check over Mike's report findings in case they need to make further enquiries before your purchase can proceed. All consultations with Mike are included within our fee, and you would be welcome to speak to him as many times as you need to about the property, to ensure sure you fully understand the survey findings to progress forward with the purchase.

“Buying and selling houses can be emotional and there are often many ups and downs along the way.Our son, a first time buyer, was recommended to Mike Kidder Associates by a friend . The first house unbeknown to our son had several issues that were not apparent at the time of two separate viewings. The vendor appeared to try and hide a few issues also - BEWARE! . A level 2 house buyers survey with a valuation revealed the true property to us and our son withdrew from the purchase. The survey cost was worth its weight in gold as the repair bills would have been horrendous.
On to the second property which was significantly overpriced and again the level 2 survey and valuation revealed the true property. Waiting to see if his revised offer is accepted but whatever happens this will have saved over £30,000.
